In 1986, Honda engineers set out to create a walking robot. Early models (E1, E2, E3) focused on developing legs that could simulate the walk of a human. The next series of models (E4, E5, E6) were focused on walk stabilization and stair climbing. Next, a head, body and arms were added to the robot to improve balance and add functionality. Honda’s first humanoid robot, P1 was rather rugged at 6’ 2” tall, and 386 lbs. P2 improved with a more friendly design, improved walking, stair climbing/descending, and wireless automatic movements. The P3 model was even more compact, standing 5’ 2” tall and weighing 287 lbs.

ASIMO made its U.S. debut February 14, 2002, when it rang the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Honda Motor Co., Ltd.’s listing on the NYSE. ASIMO has since completed two national tours in which the robot was demonstrated for more than 130,000 people at top science and technology museums and engineering and computer science universities across North America. Little mistake about Asimo
Better watch this video,.
Asimo falls down...
Asimo falls down again...
Ok we know that Asimo is the most advance robot ever made,.
but it has a manor problem i think they need to improve the sensor of Asimo couse it always fall when steping on stairs probably they need to put sensor on how to calculate every step, Maybe the one reason also is Asimo is still a remote controlled robot and it is very hard controlling it...

Bye Guys,.
See You in
the near Future...
